During the race weekend, free shuttle buses will run from Kerepes HÉV station to the Hungaroring. These buses only go to the circuit and are timed to match the arrival of the trains. On Friday, they will run from 7:00 until 13:20. On Saturday, they run until 15:50, and on Sunday until 14:50.
To get back from the circuit, shuttle buses leave from near Gate 3 and take you to Gödöllő Railway Station. From there, you can catch trains back to Budapest, with more frequent and comfortable options than from Kerepes. Return shuttles run from 16:00 to 20:00 on Friday and Saturday, and from 16:45 to 20:30 on Sunday.
You can use the shuttle buses as long as you have a valid Grand Prix ticket. The service is usually smooth and well-organised. However, after the race ends, it can get very busy.
