Formula 1 GP Hungary 19/07-21/07/2024

TIPS FOR THE RACE WEEKEND

Check out our helpful tips to make sure you enjoy the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring to the fullest.

  • The first piece of advice is clear - get there early. And this is especially important on Sunday during race day. Better than waiting in the queue is to enjoy the atmosphere of the race on the circuit, don't you think? The ideal time to arrive at the circuit is around 9 am.
  • Plan what you will do and where you want to go. If you're going with friends, bear in mind that, especially on Sundays, the mobile phone network on the circuit is overloaded, and phone and data services may not work. Always arrange a checkpoint where you can meet up if you get lost.

Who are you rooting for? In Hungary, you are on neutral ground; here, no fan club prevails. Traditionally, the strongest fan clubs tend to be the three most prominent teams, Red Bull Racing, Mercedes and Scuderia Ferrari.

The highlight for fans is the pit walk on Thursday afternoon. Teams usually leave the pits open at this time, so you can enjoy a closer look at the F1 cars. Pit Walk tickets are sold separately up to a week before the event and can only be purchased by weekend ticket holders.
