TIPS FOR THE RACE WEEKEND

Check out our helpful tips to make sure you enjoy the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring to the fullest.

• The first piece of advice is clear - get there early. And this is especially important on Sunday during race day. Better than waiting in the queue is to enjoy the atmosphere of the race on the circuit, don't you think? The ideal time to arrive at the circuit is around 9 am.
• Plan what you will do and where you want to go. If you're going with friends, bear in mind that, especially on Sundays, the mobile phone network on the circuit is overloaded, and phone and data services may not work. Always arrange a checkpoint where you can meet up if you get lost.

The highlight for fans is the Pit Lane Walk on Thursday afternoon, July 23. This is your chance to experience the very first moments of a Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend from up close. Teams usually leave the pits open, allowing you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the F1 cars before they hit the track.

Please note: Pit Lane Walk tickets are sold separately and are exclusively available to weekend ticket holders. These tickets often sell out fast, so be sure to secure yours via gpticketshop.hu.

If you do not have a weekend ticket, or are looking for even more entertainment, don't miss the new Fanzone Extra taking place on the same day. It features a high-speed test of the Safety and Medical Cars, stage programs, and a festival atmosphere. Tickets for Fanzone Extra are available to the general public.
